right. it doesn't matter who you are to him, grey will always be a bigger brother to you. he is the one people imagine taking a bullet for people, because he probably would if he had to in order to save their lives. sometimes this can be a bit of a nuisance, because even strangers will find him to be a bit on the protective side and that could be...well, a little creepy and overwhelming to say the least. but after a while, his friends come to grow onto his protective side, and also deem it as a sure sign of a loyal friend and boyfriend. both is true, although he can be a bit on the "loose" side when it comes to girls. in grey's eyes, there is no reason to lie to sugarcoat things. he will tell the truth and will preach everyone else to do the same because he just thinks that that is the right thing to do and everyone should do the right thing. being raised up in the south is a major factor for this dominant trait of his -- back in his hometown where he grew up in that's what everyone did. they lived by the "honesty is the best policy" code, and it seemed to help cut back on crimes and hate everywhere else, which is why it sticks with him to this day, which can be a little hard sometimes, but he still tries his best to keep to his honest ways. everything grey does has some sort of serious not to it. he doesn't like to joke around too much unless he's drunk, which is hardly never now that he's really focusing on his work and studies. he likes having fun, but in moderation. he is more of the "workaholic" type than the class clown, and that goes back in middle school and high school all the way to college. grey still likes to laugh and crack jokes, but jokes are a rarity for him. everything grey does has some sort of serious not to it. he doesn't like to joke around too much unless he's drunk, which is hardly never now that he's really focusing on his work and studies. he likes having fun, but in moderation. he is more of the "workaholic" type than the class clown, and that goes back in middle school and high school all the way to college. grey still likes to laugh and crack jokes, but jokes are a rarity for him. appearance grey actually dresses pretty nice for a guy. he doesn't overdo it but he doesn't under-dress, either. when he's at home he lounges around in a less fierce pair of basketball shorts or sweatpants, shirt optional but most likely not worn. he has a giant scar on his torso from an accident he was nearly killed in when he was three. it's hardly noticeable now; mostly just a slight pink line crossing his chest and going down to his groin area. grey is also 6'1, making him just barely over the six foot mark but still pretty tall nonetheless. he also has an extremely cliche texan accent that never seemed to go away even though he's been out of that part of the south for several years. history grey was born and raised around houston, texas. growing up he only had his father and three sisters, as his mother had left him when his oldest sister was three years old. growing up in the family he did, money didn't come around a whole lot and the winchester kids were happy to get pillowcases for christmas which usually beat their used pair of shoes they got. grey was still a bombshell at school, however, even though he never wore the best clothes or had the cleanest hair. for some reason girls found this part of him attractive, which was what started this intense cockiness about him. it didn't help his ego that both his sisters were cocky as well and had practically all of the senior high school jocks chasing after them, but that's life and let's just say that the winchester family had a bunch of good genes to pass around. but soon their fortune changed...er, at least somewhat. his sisters moved to crystal falls to attend college, and soon little grey followed, and now they are all making a decent living while furthering their education. grey met a girl named vanessa in los angeles nearly a year and a half after living there and fell madly in love with her, but a few months after he broke things off when she wound up pregnant with his baby. okay, so maybe they never 'officially' broke up -- instead he just ran off and stopped talking to her. he regrets it, but he knows he isn't in any position to take care of a baby. not now, anyways. and that's how he ended up in south carolina. he needed to get away, to make a name for himself. that didn't come with consequences, however, because almost immediately after moving on, chris -- his baby -- was handed off to him after vanessa was hospitalized for a drug overdose and her parents saw grey as being the only person fit to take care of the baby.
